Job Summary
Seeking a Project Manager – Automation with 5–7 years of experience managing industrial automation and machine-building projects. The ideal candidate should have experience leading automation projects from design through commissioning.
Title: Project Manager – Automation
Location: Simi Valley, CA

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead industrial automation and machine-building projects.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate design, manufacturing, procurement, installation, and commissioning teams.
  • Oversee supplier management, project documentation, and engineering changes.
  • Support FAT, SAT, production ramp-up, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing automation, or Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machine design, pneumatics, hydraulics, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with MS Project and cross-functional project management.
  • PMP/PRINCE2 certification and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge are a plus.
