SWE Automation Intern Location: Plano, TX Duration: 12 weeks Start Date: May 25, 2027 About this opportunity: Join Ericsson as a SWE Automation Intern to contribute to customer solutions during the build phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will develop software components, support component and early system testing, and work within Agile and CI/CD practices.

You will also help create and manage assets required for project delivery. What you will do: Develop and integrate software components according to specifications Contribute to component and system testing, identifying issues and collaborating on fixes Follow software development best practices, including Agile methods and CI/CD processes Assist in asset creation and ongoing development activity needed for the project Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements Emphasize security, reliability, and compliance throughout development and testing Participate in ongoing learning and improvement activities to enhance software quality and delivery speed The skills you bring: Cloud technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, containers, microservices, Spring Boot Front end development experience and related tooling Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework DevSecOps mindset encompassing security in the development lifecycle Knowledge of security, IT security, and compliance requirements Experience with software vulnerability management and secure coding practices Experience with Agile methodologies CI/CD experience and familiarity with tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Sonar, Helm Ability to collaborate effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and manage multiple priorities A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies Eligibility requirements: 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent Available for a full-time internship for 12 weeks Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship Why join Ericsson.
