General Statement of Duties Coordinates technical projects relating to the automation and streamlining of various processes supported by the I.T. Department. Oversees the day-to-day operations related to internal I.T

Department finances. Qualifications Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, business, or a related field, plus two (2) years of related technical automation or business administration experience. Experience with Tyler's Enterprise ERP financial management software and Hyland's OnBase document management system preferred.

Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of technical automation and systems integration involving the ability to design, implement, and maintain cohesive, efficient, and automated workflows by connecting disparate systems. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a personal computer, Microsoft 365 applications, as well as industry-related I.T. workflow automation tools such as Power Automate

Proven ability to effectively use enterprise financial systems including user permissions, workflow and report building. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated project management skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of administrative operations as well as best practices regarding the principles of budgeting, invoice processing and office management. Proven ability to compose and present reports orally and in writing to provide organized and accurate statistical information. Proven ability to multi-task and to perform a variety of functions in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues and vendors. 100% Training & Experience Assessment The examination to determine a candidate's eligibility for the position will be a Training and Experience Assessment. Business Systems Manager Duties and Responsibilities: Works with I.T. Leadership and external departments to identify opportunities to automate and streamline existing Town processes. Regularly reviews existing administrative tools, such as document management and enterprise resource systems, to ensure optimal automation

Develops Proof of Concepts (POCs) for automation projects, to ensure technology is feasible, focusing on functionality with minimal resources. Pilots and troubleshoots proposed automation solutions. Assists with back-end technology support for the Town's accounting and document management systems.

Oversees the accounts payable functions on behalf of the I.T. Department, monitoring expenditures to assure budgetary compliance. Assists with the preparation of the annual budget

Coordinates daily office operations including I.T. office coverage for customer service needs, vendor management, supply procurement and inventory, computer leasing schedules, and the disposition of surplus or obsolete property. Serves as the content steward for the Department's website

Assists with the development and administration of vendor contracts in collaboration with the Purchasing Department guidelines. Oversees the effective usage of, and available resources for, the I.T. Training Room

Responds to the Freedom of Information Act requests and e-discovery email searches and communicates with various departments and/or the public. Performs other related duties as assigned. Supports Town policies and philosophies.

Supplemental Information All positions may be subject to an interview process. The Town reserves the right to limit the number of qualified candidates who will be invited to participate in the recruitment, or any part thereof. All outside candidates will be required to undertake and successfully pass a pre-employment medical examination, which includes a substance abuse test that includes testing for THC (the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana), given at the Town's expense prior to employment if conditionally offered a part time, full time or safety sensitive position.

The Town of Greenwich has implemented a policy of background investigations all full and part time positions prior to hiring as part of the reference checking procedures for outside candidates.
