Job description

Warehouse Associate
Automation Personnel Services is seeking experienced Warehouse Associates for a warehouse in Alcoa, TN. This position will assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing.
Pay Rate
$18.50 per hour
Shifts and Schedules
Weekend shift: Saturday-Tuesday 5:00am-3:30pm
Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions
• Determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped
• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed
• Take check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries
Warehouse Associate Qualifications and Requirements
• Basic computer skills and use of RF scanners is a MUST
• Preferred general warehouse experience
• Must be able to lift, push and pull 75lbs consistently (an in-office assessment will be performed)
• Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
