SALARY: $29.33/hr. + 4.25 hours of Daily OT
SHIFT:
  • 12.25 hours (rotating days/nights) every 8 weeks
  • 5:45 am - 6:00 pm, 5:45 pm - 6:00 am
  • Two 3-day weekends off a month

ROLE SUMMARY:
Metal Container Corporation (MCC), a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev, is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician - Apprentice to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be an integral member of a dedicated production team, providing hands-on electrical expertise to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our high-speed manufacturing equipment.
You'll work side-by-side with operators, maintenance professionals, and production leaders to troubleshoot equipment, improve system reliability, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are passionate about automation, electrical systems, and problem-solving, we'd like to hear from you.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot 480-volt, three-phase electrical systems while minimizing production downtime.
  • Support, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs and computer-controlled process systems.
  • Diagnose and repair AC/DC drives, servo systems, hydraulic and pneumatic controls, and temperature control systems.
  • Maintain electrical controls, instrumentation, and automation systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and production efficiency.
  • Ensure all equipment operates safely and meets established quality standards.
  • Communicate equipment status and operational issues during shift handoffs.
  • Provide technical support for other production areas as needed.
  • Participate in safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), monitor performance metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Continuously expand your technical knowledge while supporting the development of teammates.
    Successful completion of the MCC OKC Electrical Bench Test
  • Driver's License Certifications (within 12 months)
    • Conversion Press Module
    • Shell Press/Liner Module
  • Production Technician to Electrical Specialist Proficiency-Certification (within 18 months)
  • Compliance with all company electrical safety requirements, including:
    • Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO)
    • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
    • Current Arc Flash Certification - Electrical Safety for Qualified NAZ (ILT 111225)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two-year technical certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming and troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting AC/DC drives and high-speed automated manufacturing systems.
  • Working knowledge of servo systems, hydraulic and pneumatic controls, and temperature control systems.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a production team.
