Job description

We are a growing commercial services company specializing in commercial door systems, automatic doors, gates, and electronic access control solutions. We partner with property managers, general contractors, and facility leaders to design, install, service, and maintain secure access solutions for commercial and industrial properties.

Position Overview

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business and expanding existing accounts by selling commercial door, gate, and access control solutions. This role is highly relationship-driven and requires regular field activity, customer meetings, site walks, and collaboration with operations and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business within an assigned territory

  • Build and maintain relationships with property managers, facility managers, general contractors, and end users

  • Conduct onsite visits to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate door, gate, and access control solutions

  • Sell service agreements, repairs, retrofits, and new installation projects

  • Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and scope of work

  • Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure smooth project execution

  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

  • Stay current on products, industry trends, and safety standards

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience

  • Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills

  • Comfortable conducting onsite meetings and job walks

  • Ability to read plans, scopes, or basic construction documents (preferred)

  • Valid driverโ€™s license and ability to travel within assigned territory

Preferred Experience
  • Commercial door hardware, automatic doors, gate operators, or access control systems

  • Selling to property management groups, HOAs, municipalities, or general contractors

  • CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, ServiceTitan, or similar)
