Job description

Automatic Door Technician – San Antonio Area

Automatic Entrance Solutions is looking for an experienced Automatic Door Technician to join our team in the San Antonio area. We are seeking a motivated technician with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who has experience working with automatic door systems, access control, hollow metal doors, or related commercial door systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of automatic door systems including:
    • Sliding doors
    • Swinging doors
    • Folding/Bi-fold doors
    • Revolving doors
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and safely
  • Complete job-related paperwork accurately and submit documentation in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or services to customers
  • Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an automatic door technician or in a related field preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude required
  • Experience with access control systems, hollow metal doors, storefront systems, or automatic operators preferred
  • AAADM Certification is a plus, not required
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs safely
  • Comfortable working at heights and using ladders
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
