The Student Computer Center (SCC) Federal Work Study tutor is responsible for providing tutorial assistance to students in SCC computer laboratory setting, in the provided discipline(s).

Minimum Education/Experience
Current OCCC student with Federal Work Study Program award
Qualified to tutor in designated tutor subject area and must receive recommendation from a laboratory supervisor or professor indicating that tutor is qualified.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
(The individual must possess these skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities).

Physical Demands/Working Conditions
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work is light work which requires the person in this position to occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force to grasp, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:
This position requires the ability to lift and carry computer and peripheral equipment.
Work is performed in a relatively safe, secure, stable, and indoor office, classroom, and lab work environment.
