RN Home Care/Full and Part-time

Traverse City, Michigan

Seeking RNs for Home Care

Full and part-time positions available

Flexible Schedule, No Long Shifts, 1 to 1 Nursing and more.

$40 starting pay commensurate with experience.

We are looking to add experienced nurses to our in-home business for Traverse City and the surrounding areas. 

The optimal candidate will be proficient in successful peripheral IV access, PICC/ Port management, and have excellent comprehensive assessment skills.  We also provide wound care, ostomy care, foot care and medication management with training available. This nurse must be able to work independently in the field, have excellent communication and time management skills.  In addition, they should be familiar with EMR documentation and with Michigan nursing standards.  This individual should be comfortable driving in all weather conditions, up to a maximum of a 60-mile radius. 

We are independently owned and operated, Joint Commission accredited, and service the greater Northern Michigan area. Brightstar Care provides home infusion therapy to individuals from pediatric to geriatric. 

This position offers:

  • No mandatory holidays.
  • No on-call.
  • 24-hour in-office RN support.     

Our Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted Michigan RN license.
  • Valid driver’s license with proof of current auto insurance.
  • CPR certified (On-site free CPR re-certification).
  • ACLS preferred, not required.
  • One-year recent RN experience within a hospital, facility, or clinic.
