MidWest Meidl Collision Centre is expanding its team in Saskatoon! We are seeking a skilled, quality-driven licensed Journeyman Autobody Technician who takes pride in precision repairs. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Evaluate vehicle damage thoroughly to map out efficient, safe, and OEM-compliant repair strategies.
  • Restore collision-damaged vehicles back to factory and manufacturer specifications.
  • Utilize specialized frame rack systems to straighten bent automobile frames accurately.
  • Perform safe aluminum repairs following strict OEM guidelines and procedures.
  • Strip down damaged components, panels, and trim using standard hand and power tools.
  • Weld, bolt, and align replacement parts using specialized structural equipment.
  • Handle meticulous finishing work, including filling, grinding, filing, and sanding surfaces.
  • Complete final cosmetic alignments, aim headlights, and handle other duties assigned by shop management.


Position Requirements

  • Certification: Valid Auto Body Technician Journeyperson Ticket is required.
  • Credentials: Red Seal Certification and up-to-date I-CAR training are highly valued assets.
  • Technical Skills: Prior experience with Mitchell estimating software and aluminum repair is a strong plus.
  • Equipment: Must own a complete set of standard autobody tools to perform daily repairs.
  • Driver's Licence: A valid driver's licence is required (a driver's abstract and criminal record check will be required upon hire).
  • Traits: Strong attention to structural detail, high professional integrity, and a collaborative mindset.
