Job description

Our Loan Officer are individuals with the vision and dedication needed to assist our current and future customers finance the vehicle of their dreams, while driving value to auto dealer partners. Our Loan Officer position is a challenging and dynamic position with opportunity for advancement. The successful Loan Officer will source new sales opportunities to achieve quotas. Candidate will play a key role in increasing the income and revenues by managing customer auto finance needs and negotiating dealer relationships. Candidate will educate, train, and acquire new customers and foster existing and new Dealer partners along with acquiring new sources and will play an active role in securing contracts. Additionally, you will manage and consult in all sales activities and account development.

DUTIES, TASKS, RESPONSIBILTIES (includes, but not limited to)

  • Present and communicate company loan products and services to all levels of management within new and existing customers and connect them to an Independent and/or Franchise Dealerships
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned to you
  • Follow-up on new leads and referrals stemming from lead generating partnerships and/or referrals
  • Prepare loan offers and proposals for all levels of management within the Franchise dealership
  • Develop and maintain and grow current client and potential client relationships within the independent and franchise dealer communities
  • Constant communication with Independent and Franchise dealers on current promotions, marketing information, and training documents
  • Train dealers on proper documentation needed for fast-funding of contracts

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES

  • Ability to persuade and influence others
  • Presentation skills (from initial creation to delivery)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of cold calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
  • Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Automotive, Finance and Sales Experience; required
  • Previous Outside Sales Experience; preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook); required
  • Knowledge/Experience with the use of DealerTrack, RouteOne, or CUDL; beneficial

Pay rate
What’s our pay plan?Β 

  • Self-determined, performance-based compensation package
  • Base pay of $18.47 per hour or $3,201.47 per month. You will also receive commission for every funded deal effective the date of your employment
  • Guarantee bonus of $700.00 a month for the first six (6) months, unless you exceed the bonus guarantee, in which case you would receive the higher amount
  • Guarantee minimum $3,901.47 for the first six (6) monthsΒ 
  • Our advisors are earning an average of $4,487 per month in bonus
  • $3,000.00 - $8,000.00 monthly average.Β 
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable
