Position Title: Chico Hyundai Service Manager

Location: Chico, California

Job Summary:

The Chico Hyundai Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Hyundai service department. The Service Manager will lead a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and efficiency in servicing vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise all service department employees, including technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure department goals are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase service department revenue and profitability.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction by resolving customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the service department.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on the status of their vehicles and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Work closely with the parts department to ensure timely availability of parts needed for repairs.
  • Train and mentor service department employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay current on industry trends and developments to proactively address challenges and opportunities in the service department.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive repair is preferred.
