Sheehy Vw of Springfield is seeking a talented, experienced Finance Director to join our team as we grow. The Finance Director will lead a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while building customer loyalty. The successful candidate must have a proven track record, a strong knowledge of selling all financial products, and excellent training and coaching talents.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, engage, and motivate the F&I team to achieve performance expectations.
  • Drive the business through a high level of involvement in the day-to-day operations, including support to the Sales team in structuring transactions.
  • Provide sales consultants and managers with current information on finance and lease programs.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with all lenders, including the manufacturer.
  • Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations while conducting business in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Acquire and maintain a current state insurance license, completing continuing education as needed.
  • Ensure timely funding for all contracts and control contracts in transit; obtain resolutions for all returned contracts.
  • Provide Sales Consultant training regarding the benefits of financing, insurance, and extended service programs.
  • Coordinate finance forecasting with sales department forecasting to achieve desired levels of penetration and income.
  • Work closely with GSM to establish sales department goals and objectives
  • Conduct frequent deal audits to ensure compliance
  • Providing an exceptional customer experience to build relationships and drive loyalty

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Automotive Finance Management experience
  • Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with developing, mentoring, and training a successful team
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Authorized to work in the USA
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug test
  • Must have a valid driver's license
