Auto Estimator
Our Auto Estimators play a key role in supporting fleet clients and drivers by assessing vehicle damage and deliveringaccurate,timelyrepair estimates. In this role,youllreview third-party estimates, ensure alignment with client guidelines, and partner closely with repair facilities and vendors to drive high-quality, cost-effective repair outcomes.
As a subject matter expert in collision repair,youllcollaborate with internal teams, clients, and service partners to ensure a seamless, efficient process frominitialassessment through repair completion. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong technicalexpertisewith attention to detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment where managing multiple claims and priorities is essential.


Whatyoulldo:

  • Review and write collision repair estimatesin accordance withindustry standards and client-specific guidelines.
  • Audit third-party estimates (adjusters, body shops, vendors) and recommend necessary revisions for accuracy and cost control.
  • Evaluate vehicle damage toidentifyrelated and unrelated damage and ensureappropriate repairscope.
  • Ensure all estimates meet quality assurance standards and align with contractual and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with repair facilities to negotiate,finalize, and approve repair estimates.
  • Monitor repair progress and support coordination between repair shops, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Manage rental timelines in alignment with repair duration and ensure proper setup and extensions as needed.
  • Maintainaccuratedocumentation of estimates, modifications, and claim activity within internal systems.
  • Analyze estimate data and contribute to reporting and process improvement initiatives.
  • Identifyand resolve escalations related to estimate accuracy, repair quality, or vendor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with client workflows, guidelines, and service level expectations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders via phone and email.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolveissues quickly and enhance overall service delivery.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time expectations.
  • Support team members and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Whatwe'relooking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in auto appraising, collision repair, or auto claims.
  • I-CAR certification or willingness toacquireI-CAR certificationrequired.
  • State adjuster license preferred.
  • Experience writing, reviewing, or auditing repair estimatesrequired.
  • Familiarity with CCC or similar estimating platforms preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair processes, estimating practices, and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex estimates and make sound recommendations.
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
