Job description

Our Company –

Solving Autism LLC has been providing ABA Therapy within the Charlotte area since 2013. We are privately owned by a practicing BCBA with deep roots in the ABA and Special Education fields. We are proud to offer highly individualized services to individuals between the ages of 2 and 22 years old, within our South Charlotte and Fort Mill clinic locations. We are thrilled to be expanding the scope of our practice to include SLP services!

Overview of SLP Role –

We are looking for a candidate who is committed to our mission – To Help Individuals Reach Their Fullest Potential – while practicing a “quality over quantity” approach to their work. The SLP will oversee a pediatric caseload within our clinic sites. We are open to the SLP role being a part time or full time schedule, depending the candidate’s preference!

Responsibilities of the SLP will include –

  • Conducting assessments upon new learner enrollment, and as required per specific payor reauthorization requirements.

  • Collaboration with Clinic Leadership for suitable scheduling.

  • Ability to maintain consistent scheduling for recurring weekly or bi-weekly appointments.

  • Independently keeps up with industry-standard progress notes with a clients EMR, in a timely manner.

  • Communication with caregivers, including Parent/Guardians and ABA Therapy providers, regarding learner progress and interventions to promote continuity of care across learning environments.

  • Participate in site meetings to ensure team collaboration and wrap-around support for all clients.

Requirements –

Our ideal candidate will have –

  • A Master’s Degree from an ASHA accredited University.

  • Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

    • Must be through the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists

  • Extensive experience and training in the use of Augmentative Communication Devices.

  • Previous experience working with Pediatric populations having Developmental Delays including Autism Spectrum Disorders.

  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States.

  • A Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Preference will be given to a candidate who is credentialed with private insurance companies as well as NC and SC Medicaid.
