Job description

We are seeking a high-level Licensed Clinical Psychologist (HSP) to lead our Autism & Diagnostic Assessment team in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a unique "track-to-leadership" role: we are looking for a clinician to start in May who has the vision and expertise to grow into an Associate Director of Clinical Services as our Nashville operations expand.

This role focuses on "gold-standard" diagnostic evaluations for ages 1โ€“21 and provides oversight to a growing team of pre-licensed clinicians and testing technicians.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $115,000 โ€“ $140,000+ (commensurate with experience and leadership duties).
  • Sign-on Bonus: Available for a May start date.
  • Leadership Track: Clear milestones to transition into an Associate Director role.
  • Autonomy: Flexible scheduling and caseload management.
  • Benefits: Premium medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and full reimbursement for TN licensure and CEUs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis

  • Conduct comprehensive autism and differential diagnostic evaluations using ADOS-2, ADI-R, and MIGDAS-2.
  • Provide "clinically excellent" reports that translate complex data into actionable, strengths-based recommendations for Nashville-area families and schools.
  • Serve as the clinical lead for complex cases requiring expert differential diagnosis (ASD vs. ADHD, trauma, or mood disorders).

2. Supervision & Mentorship (Tennessee Standards)

  • Provide clinical supervision to Psychological Residents (post-docs) and Certified Psychological Assistants/Technicians in accordance with Tennessee Rule 1180-02.
  • Act as the "Supervisor of Record" for clinicians accruing hours toward their HSP designation.
  • Review and sign off on all psychological products, ensuring they meet the ethical standards of the Tennessee Board.

3. Associate Director Growth Path (The "Grow Into" Role)

  • Program Development: Assist in the design and scaling of assessment protocols.
  • Leadership: Transition into overseeing the Nashville officeโ€™s clinical quality, workflow, and staff development.
  • Community Liaison: Build relationships with Nashville pediatricians and school districts to streamline the referral process.

Qualifications

  • Education: Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Licensure: Active license as a Psychologist in Tennessee with Health Service Provider (HSP) designation (or highly eligible for reciprocity by May).
  • Experience: * 3+ years of experience in pediatric assessment.
    • Prior experience in a "Lead" or "Senior" role is a plus, as this role transitions to Associate Director.
  • Start Date: Candidate must be available to begin on-site in Nashville by May 2026.
