Provides support for students, staff, and faculty in our studios and MIDI Lab

Job Description:

Description of Duties and Tasks

  • Monitor student use of MIDI lab and studios

  • Organize, check-out, and check-in gear (microphones, amps, etc.)

  • Check students in and out of rooms, ensuring required tasks are completed

  • Repair and maintenance of cables, stands, etc.

  • Organizing and moving gear as needed

  • Basic cleaning (sweeping, dusting, wiping surfaces, etc.)

  • Weekends and evenings are required

Knowledge

  • Experience with our consoles and patchbays

  • Experience with Pro Tools and Ableton Live

  • Customer service techniques

Skills

  • Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.

  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

  • Maintaining an established work schedule.

  • Effectively using interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Effectively using organizational and planning skills.

  • Entering data, maintaining files, and performing other clerical duties.
