Job Summary

The Auditor will be responsible for examining financial records, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Language: Native or professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required to evaluate regional financial workpapers and collaborate with local firm partners.
  • Audit Expertise: Extensive knowledge of 2 CFR 200 (Subparts B-E), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS / Yellow Book), and AICPA reporting metrics.
  • Experience: Proven background in federal grant auditing, international development, or overseeing independent public accounting (IPA) firms.
  • Systems Comfort: Ability to leverage digital tools including grant management portals (GovGrants) and analytical software to manage the agency Audit Dashboard
