Listed below is a snapshot of the responsibilities and expectations for an ENVISION Intern:

  • Professional/Technical Competence: Begins to identify issues and applies accounting principles/assurance procedures; learns to apply Information Technology tools; receives exposure to the preparation of business correspondence.
  • Client Focus: Receives direct experience working with clients; completes various audit workpapers and tasks as assigned; foot & reference reports before they are finalized.
  • Business Focus: Hones communication skills and keeps manager informed of work assignments' status; develops strong time and work management skills; gains a deep understanding of the firm and its capabilities/services.
  • Staff Development: Fosters environment of collaboration; learns about and develops a growth mindset and approach to work.
  • Personal Development: Understands and develops strengths utilizing the StrengthsFinder assessment; cultivates a sense of importance around engaging in community service and leadership.

Listed below are the requirements for ENVISION Interns:

  • Must be enrolled in an accounting program (or related major)
  • Preference is for students to be a graduated senior by the time the internship commences
  • Must have a GPA of 3.25 or greater
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
