We are seeking an Audit Associate to join our assurance practice in our Providence, RI office. The individual will be responsible for assisting with audit engagements for commercial clients across a variety of industries.
Essential Duties:
  • Assist in the execution of audit and assurance engagements for commercial clients.
  • Perform audit procedures, including testing, documentation, and analysis of financial data.
  • Prepare workpapers in accordance with firm standards and professional guidelines.
  • Identify and communicate audit issues to senior team members.
  • Interact professionally with clients and respond to information requests.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required.
  • 1-2 years progressive auditing experience in public accounting required.
  • CPA or progress toward certification preferred.
  • Proven experience working with clients of varying sizes and industries.
  • Commercial audit engagement experience preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to travel locally to clients when required.
  • Must be able to work in-office a minimum of 3 days per week.
