Position Summary
The Internal Audit Recovery Analyst will be a key member of the Internal Audit Recovery team and will participate in the execution of financial recovery audits. This role will be responsible for basic auditing tasks including following standard audit procedures, documenting and creating recovery claims, identifying areas of opportunity for recovery dollars (including future savings), and corresponding with business partners (internal or external) as needed for validation or resolution of disputes both independently and under the supervision of more experienced auditors.
The primary focus of this position will be Retail Lease Auditing. The Analyst will be responsible for the identification, negotiation, settlement and collection of overpayments uncovered during occupancy audits of CVS retail store leases. The Analyst may also assist the team in performing other recovery audits, including but not limited to, other contract-based audits, promotional funding reviews, and inventory audits. This will be a hybrid role, with office attendance currently one day a week (Wednesday or as requested by team leadership). There may be up to 5% travel involved in the role.
Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience with computer applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of financial reconciliations and the ability to understand common legal terms


Preferred Qualifications

  • Lease Audit, Lease Accounting, Lease Administration, Contract Compliance, or other audit or accounting experience
  • Experience negotiating with vendors and/or landlords to settle audit claims
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple projects to meet financial targets
  • Experience with TRIRIGA, ImageSilo, and/or Salesforce
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment


Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
