Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services' company, is looking for an AV Technician II to provide AV event support which includes data projection, audio amplification, video/audio recording, videoconferencing, web streaming, and other emerging presentation technologies as adopted by the CDC. AV Technician II will provide assistance to Meeting Management Technology (MMT) Services and support their mission to enhance organizational effectiveness by linking all Coordinating Centers and Offices and CDC/ATSDR sites with each other, and with various other Federal agencies and public health partners through the development of high quality, reliable, audio, web and video conferencing services as well as local in room conference audio visual support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide successful in room AV event support which includes data projection, audio amplification, video/audio production, videoconferencing, web streaming, audio/web conferencing and other emerging presentation technologies as adopted by the CDC
  • Utilize ServiceNow ticketing system to receive, track, create and close audio-visual requests in accordance with the established SLA.
  • Utilize IFMS to monitor daily audio-visual support schedules and ad hoc requests.
  • Triage and escalate AV service resolution with other third-party vendors and conference support staff.
  • Provide training to customers in the use of media presentation and AV systems.
  • Provide conference room set-up.
  • Monitor conference room equipment while in use by customers and troubleshoot and correct any problems during an event as required.
  • Coordinate with CDC IT ServiceDesk staff and other third-party vendors to resolve equipment failures and connection issues.
  • Maintain standard conference room AV infrastructure levels and notify MMT leadership when issues arise.
  • Schedule and complete Pre-Conference planning meetings with customers to confirm scope of the event.
  • Be present when AV Engineers are servicing AV systems and conference rooms.
  • Maintain digital signage system connectivity at all conference room locations.
  • Other duties as assigned
