Job description

Salary: $20

M&M Productions USA is looking for general stagehands to help support live events such as conferences, live events, and meetings. This position requires someone with a background working as a stagehand, as well as some technical knowledge and experience working audio visual equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with our production team to execute set up and strike of events.

Responsibilities:

  • Move heavy objects.
  • Set up and tear down lighting, sound and projection equipment.
  • Build staging.
  • Set up, position and strike drapery and stage sets.
  • Set up cables, lights, and other A/V equipment.
  • Unload/Load trucks.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Self-determined schedule
  • Weekend availability
  • Paid for minimum of 4 hours per call.

Work Location: Multiple Locations



Requirements


  • A completed apprenticeship or on-the-job experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience in carpentry, electronics, or construction would be a plus.
  • Excellent stamina and strength.
  • Ability to collaborate with others.
  • Willingness to work after hours and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to focus under pressure and follow instructions.
  • Willingness and ability to adhere to safety policies.
