Job Summary

Distech Controls is seeking a Senior End-to-End Project Manager to lead controller-development projects across hardware, firmware, software, system integration, validation, manufacturing, and product launch.

The role will manage projects from initiation through commercialization, ensuring alignment across Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Lead controller projects from project definition through development, validation, launch, and transition to sustaining teams.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated end-to-end schedule across hardware, firmware, software, testing, cybersecurity, certification, and manufacturing.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Facilitate project reviews, technical integration checkpoints, and leadership updates.
  • Track readiness across Phase gates for NPIs, for design reviews, prototypes, EVT, DVT, PVT, certification, and production release.
  • Identify resource constraints and drive mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Ensure compliance with product-development, quality, documentation, and change-control processes.
  • Drive accountability, decision-making, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
  • Report out and maintain accurate status
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of technical project or program management experience.
  • Bilingual : French and English
  • Experience managing hardware, firmware, embedded software, or connected-product development.
  • Strong knowledge of product-development lifecycles, integrated planning, risk management, and change control.
  • Experience working with Agile and phase-gate development models.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience in building automation, HVAC controls, IoT, embedded systems, or industrial controls.
  • Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, RS-485, Ethernet, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with EVT, DVT, PVT, cybersecurity, certification, and manufacturing readiness.
  • PMP or Agile certification.
  • Experience with Monday.com, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project.
