What does an audio production assistant do?

An Audio Production Assistant supports audio engineers and producers in recording, editing, and mixing sound for various media. Responsibilities may include setting up equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, managing recordings, and organizing files. They may also assist in post-production tasks like editing dialogue, adding effects, and ensuring audio quality. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. It's an excellent entry-level position for those looking to build a career in audio production.
