Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Electrician with Control Experience  to join our team! You will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment, as well as training apprentices on the job. If you are a Journeyman Electrician with a can-do attitude who takes pride in his work, we want to hear from you.
Proficient in the following:
  • Wiring and installing electrical panel, transformers and switch gear assemblies 
  • Wiring Industrial, Commercial, Residential and Retail spaces
  • Installing and troubleshooting VFD's and testing equipment
  • Wiring HVAC controls, heat pumps and mechanical systems 
  • Wiring intercom systems, access control (card readers, strikes, electrified door, hardware repair, door status, door contact, request to exit sensor, interlocks) and gate operation controls
  • CCTV, audio/video/data wiring elevator, building automation and control and lighting control systems
  • Generator installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Conveyor systems and control
  • Fire Alarm Systems and programming
  • Analyzing blueprints, submittals and schematics effectively for job site knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of codes and standards 

Responsibilities: 
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine electrical requirements and materials needed
  • Install new electrical systems and repair existing systems
  • Interact with customers, suppliers, and other professionals
Qualifications
  • Journeyman Electrician License
  • Previous experience as an Control Electrician is preferred 
  • Valid Driver’s License 
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
  • Professional appearance and courteous personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate paperwork
