Job Summary
A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Litigation Paralegal in Wilmington, DE. This hybrid Paralegal role supports a busy litigation team managing complex matters from filing through trial or resolution, with a strong focus on Delaware court filings, document management, legal research, and trial preparation.
This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to step into a high-impact role with direct attorney collaboration, meaningful case responsibility, and exposure to sophisticated litigation work. The environment is fast-paced, professional, and team-oriented, with supportive leadership and a consistent hybrid schedule that provides work-life balance through remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from initial filing through trial preparation, settlement, or resolution.
- Collect, organize, analyze, and summarize pleadings, discovery, motions, medical records, employment records, appellate documents, and other case materials.
- Conduct factual investigations, legal research, docket research, and case-related analysis to support litigation strategy.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, production documents, and case reports as requested by attorneys.
- Prepare reports and case summaries for upcoming trials, significant milestones, and attorney review.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, opposing counsel, and external counsel networks across the country.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $65,000 to $85,000 per year.
- Target base compensation is up to $85,000, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates.
- Position type: Direct hire, full-time.
- Schedule: Hybrid in Wilmington, DE, with work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
