Qualifications

Facilities Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience.


Facilities Engineer requires:

General understanding and or working knowledge in one or more of the following platforms and/or technologies:

Telecom
experience including: T1, DACS, OMP Voice switch infrastructure
including: Lucent 5E and ECP, Motorola MGX, and Nortel MTX Digital
Communications including: DS1, DS3, Fiber, ISDN Data communications
including: routers, switches, Ethernet, hubs, TCP/IP, ATM, Frame Relay,
SS7 Microwave experience including: Nortel RD6 & 11, NEC OC3 Series
3000 radios Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office


Facilities Engineer duties:


validating
telecom vendor invoices against contractual rates/discounts/monthly
usage measurements; reconciling discrepancies by documenting errors;
ensuring credits are received; participating in quarterly vendor
management meetings;
