POSITION –Lead Software Developer

JOB LOCATION –Eau Claire, WI

STARTING DATE –Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM –Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE –Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday through Friday)

STARTING PAY –DOE

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance, feedback and support. Serve as a technical expert and advocate for innovation and continuous improvement within the team and company. Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality deliverables Participate in hands-on development and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency Help identify technical risks and guide the team in addressing performance, scalability, and maintainability concerns. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand project requirements and define technical solutions Support project planning by providing technical estimates, input on timelines, and solution feasibility

Qualifications

Ability to work onsite in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, as required Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent on the job experience 5+ years of professional experience in software development 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring a software development team Experience developing and maintaining functions within cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure & AWS Strong communication skills, including the ability to actively listen and clearly communicate technical concepts Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues Proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

SEEK was founded in 1971 by Carol Ann Schneider, CPC, SPHR, a Grafton, Wisconsin resident. The name SEEK was derived from a combination of initials in Carol’s family. It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
