Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Support Specialist to assist our sales team in managing customer relationships, preparing proposals, and ensuring smooth sales operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong organizational mindset, and an interest in the waste management industry. 

Key Responsibilities: 

- Assist the sales team in preparing quotes, proposals, and contracts for clients 

- Coordinate communication between sales, operations, and customer service teams 

- Maintain and update customer and prospect databases 

- Track sales activities and generate reports to support sales strategies 

- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product/service information 

- Support the onboarding of new clients and ensure smooth account setup 

- Assist in organizing sales meetings, presentations, and promotional events 

- Provide administrative support such as scheduling, filing, and document management 

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred 

- Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles 

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities 

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software 

- Knowledge of waste management services is a plus but not required
