Job description

Description:

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to provide installation, training, and ongoing support for our packaging equipment at customer sites. This role serves as the primary point of contact between Spee-Dee and our customers after equipment has shipped.

When not traveling, this position will be based out of our headquarters in Sturtevant, WI to test and verify new machines prior to shipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, train, and support new and existing equipment at customer locations
  • Serve as the primary customer contact post-installation
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
  • Document service activity, reports, and customer interactions
  • Travel up to 75% domestically with occasional international travel
Requirements:

· 3+ years of field service or relevant technical experience

· High school diploma or GED required

· Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills

· Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Proficiency with computers for service reporting

· Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed

· Experience with packaging or filling equipment strongly preferred
