Physical Therapist | HCA Florida JFK Hospital Atlantis, FL
Full-Time | Days (No Weekends) | Salary: $36.53 to $53.20/hr (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Case by case | Fee: 20% of annual salary
Overview
HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a 558-bed acute care facility with multiple Palm Beach County locations. The hospital provides comprehensive services including emergency care, cardiovascular care, neurosciences, robotic surgery, orthopedics, bariatrics, behavioral health, obstetrics, and oncology. The facility holds Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center certification, is a certified Ventricular Assist Device program, and an ACC Chest Pain Center, with American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accreditation.
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum, ensuring effective rehabilitation and functional recovery for assigned patients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized care plans in coordination with physicians and the care team
  • Deliver or oversee therapeutic interventions to achieve patient goals and improve functional outcomes
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapies, exercises, and therapeutic devices
  • Assess therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and adjust care plans as needed
  • Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments/handoffs
Qualifications
Required:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in Florida
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • Masters or Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy
  • New graduates are eligible with Florida license
Preferred:
  • Acute care experience
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and patient communication skills
