What we do:
Air Transport International (ATI) is an experienced supplemental carrier with the ability to reach across the globe. ATI is an FAR Part 121 charter airline headquartered in Wilmington, Ohio, and operates a worldwide fleet of Boeing 757 and 767 cargo and combi passenger aircraft. ATI specializes in freight forwarding, government and military contracts. ATI is a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, Inc.

The Supervisor of Safety will manage and maintain the company's safety reporting platform by processing, analyzing, and tracking, and dispositioning all safety reports. Assists in Safety Promotion functions by facilitating SMS and ASAP training, and preparing monthly/quarterly reports for ATI, FAA, etc. Lead and support incident and accident investigations. Oversee all aspects of the FOQA Program as a key member of the monitoring team.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage and maintain the ATI safety reporting platform by analyzing, processing and tracking safety reports submitted to various tracks. Communicate and coordinate between Safety, the 119's, CGO, CASS and other depts to identify safety concerns, hazards and corrective actions.
  • - Plan, coordinate and perform Safety Promotion functions, including the preparation of SMS training, ASAP training, develop, publish and disseminate monthly/quarterly and other safety reports for ATI, FAA, etc.
  • Schedule, conduct, and document all ASAP ERC meetings and interviews.
  • Facilitate FOQA FMT meetings and work with FOQA analyst in performing FOQA and ASAP data mining and analysis.
  • Provides and articulates information regarding safety of flight issues within ATI. Acts as an information conduit to bring safety of flight issues to the attention of management and to deliver safety information to ATI employees.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess analytical and data management skill set and the ability to interpret regulatory material
  • Experience in aviation; or safety programs, duties, functions.
    Working knowledge of MS Office and familiar with database concepts.
  • Detail oriented, with an ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a dynamic environment.
  • Ambitious, proactive and well-motivated.
  • Ability to excel with minimum supervision when needed.
  • Ability to coordinate and lead initiatives between work groups

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS:
  • Two years of equivalent level Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Maintenance, or bachelor's degree in business or aviation
  • FAA Pilot, Dispatch or A/P License
  • Experience and/or education in aviation safety
  • Previous experience in data analysis

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Describe any physical requirements which are regularly expected to be performed in this position, such as lifting 30 lbs. repeatedly, climbing flights of stairs, working at a height of 20 feet, etc.
  • Employees are regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
  • Light to moderate lifting is required
  • Comply with ATI attendance requirements
