Athletics Ticket Office Student Worker

Job Purpose: Serve as Ticket Office Worker during the work week in the UW Athletics Ticket Office and on ticketed game days. The Athletic Ticket Office is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Approximately 10 hours per week is expected. This position can carry over into the summer and into the 2026-2027 school year.

Starting Pay rate will be $9/hour. A pay raise will be given for each semester of continuous employment with the Ticket Office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position will provide the highest level of customer service to donors, fans, and alumni of the University.
  • Employees will be required to take inbound phone calls, solicit sales, and process ticket orders during the week as well as sell tickets for football, basketball, volleyball, and wrestling events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of intricate computer programs
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Cash handling experience and clerical techniques (i.e., answering phones)
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Have high attention to detail
  • Able to comprehend instructions and procedures in a fast paced environment
  • Previous customer service experience preferred in a point of sale or inbound phone/customer service environment

Work Location:

On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
