Job description

The University of New Mexico is seeking an Executive Director of the Lobo Club to be a member of the UNM Athletic Department. The Executive Director will report to the Deputy Athletic Director and serve on the Senior Leadership team of the Athletic Department. He/She will manage and oversee the University's strategic fundraising efforts for the Athletic Department.

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Oversees all facets of the daily operation of the unit.
  • Establishes and implements short and long-range goals, objectives, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement
  • Leads, directs and coordinates multifaceted fundraising activities, including annual campaigns, stewardship activities, cultivation of major gifts exceeding 25,000, alumni engagement programming; serves as the designated liaison with the Lobo Club Board of Directors and the UNM Foundation
  • Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards major gift donors and prospects including individual, corporations, and/or foundations
