DescriptionSimpson College Athletics is seeking a creative, motivated, and collaborative individual to serve as a Creative Content and Digital Engagement Specialist. Supported by the NCAA Division III Pathway to Excellence Grant, this entry-level position will play an important role in enhancing the student-athlete experience and advancing the department's digital presence through content creation, livestream support, and daily operational assistance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create digital content highlighting student-athletes, teams, and the overall Simpson athletics experience through video, photography, graphics, and social media in support of recruitment and retention efforts.
- Assist with department-wide social media management, including content planning, development, posting, and performance tracking.
- Support livestream and in-venue videoboard operations through graphics, video, and run-of-show preparation.
- Assist with day-to-day department operations, including front desk coverage, event support, and student-athlete interaction.
- Help support and mentor undergraduate student workers involved in athletics communications and event coverage.

QualificationsQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, sports media, marketing, digital media, sport management, or related field.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Experience with social media platforms, content creation, and/or video production.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Experience working in college athletics, sports information, athletic communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
