About the Role

Clarvida is seeking aTeacherto support youth referred by the public school system to our alternative school placement. Students are assigned for 45-180 daysand receive skill-based, blended learning within small classroom sizes. Instruction includes hands-on projects, restorative circles, and support with an online curriculum.

Teachers are part of a close-knit and supportive school community that helps students build long-term success-many return years later to share their progress. This role is ideal for educators committed to meaningful student impact and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

Deliver instruction through a blended curriculum of online coursework, hands-on projects, and restorative practices
Maintain a supportive, structured classroom environment (15:1 ratio)
Support students in achieving academic and behavioral goals
Collaborate with school staff, long-term substitutes, and behavioral teams
Monitor academic progress, participation, and required documentation
Foster a positive school community culture

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and Delaware Certification in content area
