Job description

Established and growing veteran‐owned relocation company, Quality Services Moving is seeking an energetic, detail‐oriented Relocation Estimator with strong interpersonal skills to support household goods relocations for transitioning service members and government officials. This is a full‐time, customer‐focused role in a fast‐paced environment where accuracy, professionalism, and follow‐through are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive shipment award information and proactively contact customers to schedule pre‐move surveys.
  • Conduct onsite, virtual, or telephonic surveys to inventory household goods, verify service locations, and confirm service dates.
  • Produce accurate, detailed surveys to support effective move planning and pricing.
  • Address customer questions, identify required pre‐approvals, and communicate needs to internal teams and external partners.
  • Perform administrative functions including scheduling, authorizations, shipment updates, and customer/carrier coordination.
  • Upload survey results and pre‐approval requests into CRM, DPS, and EasyDPS accurately and on time.
  • Document all customer interactions (phone, text, and email) clearly and thoroughly within the CRM system.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior household goods relocation or estimating experience strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no major violations or at‐fault accidents; no more than three minor violations in the past three years).
  • Ability to obtain base access for surveys conducted on military installations in the Metro‐DC area.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Windows, and internet‐based tools; CRM, DPS, and EasyDPS experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Self‐motivated, proactive, and team‐oriented approach to work.
