Job description

      Lucrative Pay - $20.50-22.00/HR.   Senior Helpers is seeking Caregivers, CNAs, and DSPs to work in La Mesa, Poway, Escondido, Oceanside Areas

  • Flexible Hours – Day,  Some Night Shifts, and Weekend shifts available

Day in the Life of Our Caregivers

Companion Caregivers are really just that, companions. When they first arrive, they might do a safety check, help prepare meals, or pick out clothes for the day. You are a friend who plays games, runs errands, cleans up, and genuinely tries to make someone smile.

Our Personal Caregivers are going the next step and helping our seniors bathe, get dressed, and brush their teeth. They help them stay safe with medication reminders and general mobility around the house. Some of our caregivers have certifications like CNA, HHA, or PCA, but they are optional.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are searching for Caregivers with strong communication skills and a heart to help our Seniors. 

Candidates must be comfortable providing non-medical companionship, personal care, and some light house cleaning.

Candidates must have a car for transportation.   

As part of our Caregiver Mentor Program, we will create an individualized training plan for each Caregiver.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a background check / TB skin test
  • Licensed driver with an insured and reliable automobile (travel to a Senior's home must be dependable)
