Spero Health is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to join our awesome team in Brentwood, TN!
This position is for an Insurance Verification Specialist who supports the mission of "Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships" in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment. The Insurance Verification Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Verifies client's healthcare benefits and coverage levels to ensure Spero Health services and procedures are a covered by the client's provider
  • Verifies client insurance coverage and benefits
  • Verifies In-Network and Out of Network benefits
  • Verifies client's responsibility such as deductible, co-insurance and co-pays
  • Obtains authorizations, pre-certifications and referrals according the benefits and services/procedures.
  • Communicates accurate benefits to clinical team-mates in a timely manner.
Requirements
Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
Experience:
  • 1 - 2 years of experience within a healthcare setting
