- Curriculum Alignment: Ensure all courses align with the program's values-based leadership framework and Quality Matters (QM) design standards.
- Student Mentorship: Provide substantive feedback and guidance to graduate students appropriate to their personal and professional goals.
- Academic Integration: Collaborate with the Program Director and the Center of Innovation, Teaching, Assessment, and Learning (CITAL) to maintain high standards regarding course design, teaching, and learning.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Education: In order to teach at the Master's level, adjunct faculty should have an earned doctorate in Organizational Leadership or a closely related field.
- Professional Experience: Job history and professional qualifications will be considered as a substitute for a doctorate on a case-by-case basis.
- Pedagogical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to teach in an asynchronous format and a commitment to values-based leadership.
- Interdisciplinary Knowledge: Ability to connect leadership theory to practical applications in sectors such as non-profit, government, higher education, and additional contexts.
Appointment Details
- Status: Part-time, Adjunct Faculty.
