Job Summary:

Frazier & Deeter is looking for a new leader to grow and develop their Assurance practice in the Charlotte market. The ideal candidate will thrive on the opportunity to grow and manage this practice. The Assurance Senior Manager will lead a team through all phases of the audit process, which includes developing a thorough assessment and understanding of the client's business needs and objectives. They will bring rooted relationships in the Charlotte market and a history of business development success. They will establish themselves as a leader in the community through relationship development while being known for providing high quality client service. The ideal candidate will also promote new ideas and business solutions to the firms' clients while serving as a role model and providing mentoring and training to staff members.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the execution of the firm's Assuranceย growth strategy, specific to the Charlotte market
  • Being committed to serving the profession and maintaining the highest level of audit quality
  • Responsibility for upholding high ethical standards and adhering to independence standardsย 
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the client's business and staying abreast of issues that might affect your client
  • Maintaining positive, professional relations with staff and clients
  • Provide an exceptional client experienceย 
  • Have or be able to quickly build a network of business contacts and referral sources in the Charlotteย market
  • Help build a dedicated and motivated team of professionals to accomplish the vision and strategy and to position Frazier & Deeter as a leader in assurance services to these market segments.
  • Develop new client relationships and lead all aspects of an audit engagement.
  • Working in a team environment as a leader of a group within a larger organization.

Education & Experience:ย 

  • Certified Public Accountant
  • 8+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Demonstrated ability to drive new business growth and expand market presence
  • Established expertise with one or more industry verticals such as technology, real estate, construction, healthcare, manufacturing & distribution or other industries relevant to the North Carolina region.
  • Private equity experience preferred
  • Dynamic leadership and teambuilding experience
  • Innovation mindset; forward thinking
  • Communications, sales and marketing experience
  • Ability to cross-sell firm services to existing client base
  • Proven leadership qualities
