Description

Position Summary

The ADI Service/Warehouse Associate is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing several types of foodservice equipment such as commercial microwaves, ice machines, refrigeration equipment, cooking equipment, etc. as part of the preparation for maintenance performed by the ADI Service Department.

All employees are expected to adhere to Ace Mart business philosophy, guidelines and policies as laid out in the Ace Mart Mission Statement, Guiding Operating Principles, Vision Statement, Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Program.

Responsibilities

  • Receive all incoming equipment for service and repair at ADI's facility by the Service Department. Unpack, inspect, note damages, and place into the ADI service queue.
  • Organize and store all equipment in the ADI service queue or staged for customer pick-up/delivery in designated areas. Ensure equipment is properly labeled and serial numbers are recorded.
  • Accurately complete shipping/receiving logs for all inbound and outbound equipment serviced by ADI.
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment being serviced as directed by the Lead Service Technician.
  • Take before and after pictures of every piece of equipment serviced by ADI, ensuring each unit leaves ADI's facility in better condition than when it arrived.
  • Assist with general warehousing duties as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts for the Service Department and maintain high accuracy standards for audits.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service by promptly addressing inventory inquiries and discrepancies, resolving customer issues quickly, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Represent ADI professionally and effectively.
  • Complete special projects and other warehousing duties as assigned by the Lead Service Technician and/or General Manager.

Required Education and Experience

High school education or equivalent required.

At least five years of warehouse experience preferred.

At least two years of Ace Mart/ADI distribution experience preferred.
