This position is responsible for developing and managing the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) university web presence and event registration systems, designing and producing informational and promotional digital and print materials, producing and managing multimedia and video content for CTE initiatives and managing CTE communications to support outreach and awareness of CTE programs and initiatives.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years related work experience in higher education.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Experience with website content management, digital communications, and multimedia production.
  • Strong written communication, editing, and visual design skills with the ability to present information clearly and accurately.
  • Experience with graphic design, video production, livestreaming, and multimedia editing tools.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, website analytics, and accessibility standards.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar multimedia software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Develop and manage the CTE's university web presence and event registration systems.

Collaborate with the CTE Team to create and maintain web content that aligns with university standards, accessibility requirements, and best practices for digital communication. Design web pages that clearly communicate CTE programs, resources, and events. Review website usage and engagement data to recommend improvements to usability, accessibility, organization, and navigation. Manage the CTE's event registration systems and related online platforms.

Create professional-quality graphics, multimedia materials, presentations, and promotional content for web, email, social media, and print distribution. Ensure materials align with university branding and accessibility standards. Develop production schedules to support timely communication and event promotion.

Live-stream and/or record workshops, webinars, and events for video archives, websites, and social media platforms. Collaborate with team members to create accessible multimedia content, including captioned videos and digital learning resources. Oversee video archives and assist with improvements to multimedia workflows, software, equipment, and delivery systems.

Manage email marketing, newsletters, announcements, and promotional campaigns. Coordinate CTE social media communications by coordinating content and campaigns and monitoring engagement analytics. Coordinate website news stories and digital announcements. Collaborate with the CTE Team to ensure communications are current, accurate, accessible, and aligned with institutional priorities.

Assist with technology setup, multimedia systems, livestreaming platforms, and presentation support for CTE events and programming. Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with university technology staff and venue personnel to ensure technology resources function properly.
