Job description

We're looking for a UX Researcher to join our UX Research Program and Practice team. You'll split your time between two modes of work: supporting embedded UX researchers across the organization through AI tooling development, knowledge management, maintaining standards and best practices and conducting hands-on research. This role is ideal for someone who cares deeply about research quality and has strong methodological knowledge, but wants to apply that expertise at the program level.

This role is located in Raleigh NC and no relocation support is given.

What you will do
  • Contribute to a shared repository of AI-driven UX research tools that augment and scale the research workflow.

  • Assist with evaluating AI output quality - assessing AI-generated research artifacts for accuracy, tone, bias, and interpretive validity.

  • Query and analyze the existing participant database (SQL, R, or Python) to identify sampling biases, demographic gaps, and representation issues.

  • Manage and improve recruitment infrastructure- participant panels, scheduling workflows, tooling, templates.

  • Maintain and evolve the team's standards and best practice documentation.

  • Partner with the Senior Researcher to build and maintain a structured research insights repository.

  • Conduct primary research as part of ongoing research programs (benchmarking, UX measurement, continuous interviews).

  • Conduct research using existing data sources - survey backlogs, customer feedback repositories, support tickets, prior study findings - to surface patterns and generate new insights.

What you will bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (HCI, Psychology, Information Science, Social Sciences).or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2+ years of experience conducting mixed-methods UX research (qualitative and quantitative).

  • Strong foundational knowledge of UX research methods - qualitative and quantitative - even though this role isn't conducting studies day-to-day

  • Experience with participant management, tooling, templates, or program coordination

  • Ability to review and give constructive feedback on research plans, guides, and deliverables

  • Organizational skills to manage taxonomies, repositories, and documentation at scale

  • Strong communication skills - can train, advise, and influence researchers and cross-functional partners

  • Exceptional writing and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex methodologies into simple, enforceable criteria.

  • Attention to detail and a quality mindset - you notice when a screener has leading questions or a report buries the key finding

Plus:

  • Experience building or maintaining a research repository or knowledge management system

  • Experience developing research training programs or onboarding materials

  • Exposure to AI/LLM-based research tools or interest in how automation can support research workflows

  • Experience working in enterprise or B2B product environments

The salary range for this position is $96,440.00 - $154,190.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
