Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Treasury Senior Associate to join our lean, corporate Treasury team. This is a true hybrid role designed for a professional who excels in foundational Treasury operations but possesses the quantitative skillset to support strategic capital markets, investment analysis, and interest rate and FX risk management. 

You will also be able to demonstrate a clear track record of driving initiatives from conception to completion. In this role, you will leverage a strong foundational skillset in capital markets, corporate investments, and financial risk modeling to drive analysis and support key initiatives across these areas. 

Concurrently, you will be fully integrated into payment processing, daily cash positioning, and short-term liquidity forecasting across Peloton globally. The ideal candidate wants a role where they can master core treasury mechanics while gaining immediate, hands-on exposure to high-level balance sheet strategy. You will also play a key role in driving strategic Treasury initiatives, helping us implement best-in-class technologies and processes to build a highly scalable, modern Treasury function. 

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
  • Assist in managing the corporate investment portfolio, ensuring compliance with investment policies while maximizing yield
  • Support debt capital markets activities, including compliance tracking for existing facilities and analysis for future capital raises
  • Perform quantitative analysis and modeling to identify and quantify exposures to interest rate fluctuations and foreign exchange (FX) risk
  • Execute the daily cash positioning process to ensure optimal utilization of corporate funds across global bank accounts
  • Process wires, ACH payments, and intercompany settlements, abiding by internal and SOX payment controls
  • Build and maintain rolling short-term cash flow forecasts, collaborating with FP&A and accounting teams to minimize variance
  • Manage global banking relationships, including account opening/closing, KYC compliance, and the optimization of bank fee structures
  • Identify opportunities within the treasury workflow and lead initiatives to automate processes, reduce operational risk, and scale the function
  • Act as the project lead or key functional expert for the implementation and optimization of Treasury Management Systems (TMS), ERP integrations, and banking APIs
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Legal to support new business initiatives requiring scalable payment routing or banking infrastructure
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, corporate finance, or investment banking
  • Treasury Management System and ERP experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify areas to improve processes
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable in new situations, ability to think creatively to resolve issues
  • Strong foundational knowledge of macroeconomic indicators, fixed-income markets, and derivative instruments
  • Experience with Claude Code and other AI tools is a strong plus
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrates sense of urgency and sense of composure under pressure
