Job description

Position Summary:
The Surveillance Technical Supervisor directly supervises Surveillance Technicians and coordinates technical projects for the Surveillance Department. This position manages projects alongside the Director of Surveillance and ensures budget and timelines are met. The Surveillance Technical Supervisor recommends equipment purchases and installs and maintains all surveillance equipment. This position performs responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's core values and demonstrating Exemplary Service Standards at all times.
2. Supervise Surveillance Technician(s) to ensure productivity and efficiency in duties as assigned.
3. Train new and existing Surveillance Technician(s) in the methods and processes required to proactively monitor and maintain the Surveillance equipment, to include trouble-shooting methods, software, hardware and infrastructure intricacies.
4. Assist the Director of Surveillance in Surveillance technical project management and adherence to agreed upon project timelines and budgets.
5. Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs of equipment failures in an expedient manner.
6. Strategize the installation and deployment of additional surveillance equipment as needed.
7. Relocate, decommission, inventory and dispose of surveillance equipment as needed.
8. Keep informed of new equipment and technology as it becomes available on the market and recommend repairs, expansions, and additional equipment when necessary.
9. Inform the Director of Surveillance of all pertinent information regarding the Surveillance system status and malfunctions.
10. Be on call for emergency equipment repair.
11. Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to Surveillance equipment, operations, controls, and procedures involved in surveillance activities.
12. Evaluate equipment needs and order surveillance equipment as necessary.
13. Operate various tools and test equipment while maintaining, installing, and repairing Surveillance equipment.
Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Must have experience working and/or supervising team members in an electronic repair background, or a minimum of three (3) years using and maintaining CCTV equipment.
3. Must be reliable, trustworthy and honest.
4. Have extensive, detailed knowledge of how all applicable video equipment operates.
5. Ability to work constantly changing schedules to adjust to fluctuating business demands and work any shifts, including holidays, with fluctuating days off.
6. Demonstrate sound judgement and mature decision making.
7. Ability to react quickly and accurately under demanding, high-stress conditions.
8. Self-motivated and complete job functions with little or no supervision.
9. Must be organized and detail oriented.
10. Must be at least 21 years of age.
11. Must be able to obtain a gaming work card through the Graton Gaming Commission.
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. Ability to work in confined areas.
3. Ability to hear.
4. Ability to work in high-energy, high-pressure environment.
5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
6. Ability to bend, sit, kneel, stoop, climb, crawl, pull or lift heavy objects, and operate hand tools and heavy machinery.
7. Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift.
8. Manual dexterity to perform job related functions.
