We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Architectural Project Manager with retail, restaurant and commercial architectural experience. Must be able to represent the company with clients and consultants with a wide range of technical knowledge related to architecture, building and construction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Ability to multi-task and establish priorities on multiple projects at various stages of work, consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements and ensure that design meets aesthetic standards and construction projects meet building regulation compliance. Tasks include broad oversight of the complete Contract Documents, including drawings and specifications. Proficient in contract administration, fee negotiation, monitoring of budgets and billings; preparation of Additional Service Requests.

Prepare and ensure accuracy of technical documents through Quality Assurance reviews at different phases of project. Resolve complex technical/design issues and provides support, guidance and training to team.

Qualifications

โ€ข Education and Abilities

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in accredited Architecture program
  • Minimum of ten (10) years experience as an architect; 15 years experience is preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to interact professionally and comfortably and build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships
  • Demonstrated experience with client interaction and ability to lead and mentor a team
  • AutoCAD and Revit experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of architectural principles, practices and techniques
  • Strong drive for quality.
  • Proven ability to function in all phases of project development from schematic design through contract administration
  • Registered Architect: licensure in the state of CA is highly desired
