For over 50 years, StandardAero Augusta has been setting the standard in Corporate Aircraft Maintenance. Operating as a Business Aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) facility, we are specialized to support an extensive range of aircraft models, including renowned brands such as Falcon, Hawker, Challenger, Gulfstream, and Embraer. With a significant 80,500 sq ft expansion we've doubled our footprint at AGS. Our facility focuses on 27 models of aircraft on the Airframe side, while our Engine Shop performs comprehensive overhauls on Honeywell HTF7000 and TFE731 engines, APUs, and performs diagnostics in our state-of-the-art Test Cells.
Join our Augusta, GA (AGS) team as a Customer Project Manager, where you will serve as the primary liaison between maintenance teams, OEMs, and our customers, ensuring seamless project execution. In this role, you will manage the service and delivery of maintenance operations surrounding business aircraft auxiliary power units (APU). This CPM will specialize in facilitating the maintenance of Honeywell 36 Series APUs (GTCP36-100, 36-150).
What to Expect in This Role:
  • Act as the primary point of contact between customers, MSP Administrators, OEM suppliers and Crew Chiefs, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
  • Manage the maintenance initiatives for as many as fifty (50) clients at a time, balancing multiple projects while ensuring high-quality service and on-time delivery.
  • Establish detailed operational objectives and action plans to meet project performance goals.
  • Develop and oversee program plans and schedules, ensuring adherence to milestones and operational targets.
  • Utilize control systems and reports to measure project progress, including project schedules, budgets, material orders, labor targets, and Contract Change Orders (CCO).
  • Identify potential project challenges and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all company contract commitments are met and executed per customer agreements.
  • Coordinate technical activities across departments, including production, procurement, quality control, logistics, and administration.
  • Obtain customer approvals for work scope changes and overtime as needed.
  • Provide alternative solutions and justifications for deviations from the project plan while developing recovery strategies.
  • Drive sales by informing customers about company capabilities, special programs, and pricing incentives.
  • Prepare customer quotations and administer warranty claims and special programs.
  • Review invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper labor, materials, cost, and contract compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns and billing disputes in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company-wide quality, environmental, and Safety Management System (SMS) policies.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with project management, working across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on technical experience within Aviation.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce (CRM) and Microsoft Office (MS Project/ SharePoint/Excel/ Outlook).
  • Prior experience leading and influencing teams in a matrix environment (without direct reporting responsibility).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience in Aviation.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
  • Specialized certifications/training from aircraft manufacturers, OEM suppliers, FlightSafety, technical schools and/or CAE.
  • Experience working in a Business Aviation MRO.
  • Specialized training or certifications specific to Honeywell products.
  • Strong business and financial acumen relevant to aviation, billing, and financial statements.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills with situational awareness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong customer relations and conflict resolution skills.
