Technical Delivery Manager Role

Manager plans to extend through end of June, funding approval has already been requested. If worker performs well once this project ends may be able to move to another project to extend beyond end of June.

Technical Delivery Manager role:

  • 10+ years of technical project management experience in a large multi-unit organization required.
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with multi-discipline information security (IS), IT infrastructure, and/or IT programs and projects is preferred.
  • Ability to build formal and informal relationships and networks within and across organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others; demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types.
  • Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources.
  • Cultural adaptability. Virtual and remote team management ability.
  • Experience in a complex IT and business environments, including ability to coordinate multiple teams in various locations and time zones.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical projects and make them executive and business consumable as well as effectively communicate business and not technical requirements with technical leadership.
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills required to undertake analysis to identify issues or solve complex problems.
