Job description

PURPOSE

The Automation Operations Support Associate provides essential support to the Automation operations team, ensuring smooth project execution and contributing to overall operational efficiency. This role is an entry-level opportunity with potential development into additional roles within the automation teams.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Accurately gather, organize, and package components and materials for various automation projects (kitting).
  • Operate specialized printers to produce high-quality phenolic labels and "chiclets" for control panels and systems, including managing print queues, loading materials, and performing basic printer maintenance.
  • Provide general administrative and logistical support to the operations team, which may include organizing inventory, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, assisting with shipping and receiving, and other tasks as needed.
  • Actively developing knowledge of automation systems, components, and processes, understanding the purpose of parts and their fit into larger systems.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • No Prior experience required
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable and organized; ability to manage multiple tasks and complete assignments on time.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with common Windows Office applications.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop new skills in a technical environment.
